Notepad ++

Works great when used to make Web pages in HTML. Elements, attributes & values are color coded when all characters are entered correctly. If you forget an " or put a + instead of = the color remains black until the problem is corrected. I have been taking intro a class on building Web pages and NotePadd++ is what we are using as our editor. It also works well for CSS. It will save document in many other forms and is much easier to word with than regular note pad.
